american painter collaborated intensively with DH especially during the period 1989-1994, is the author of the famous bearskin wearing computer operator painting from the first edition of Simians, Cyborgs and Women. Her paintings appear contrapuntally in Modest_Witness@second_millennium the text of which allegedly emerged symbiotically or in intimate association with the paintings.
