The EcoBody Collective
Embodying Connections

The EcoBody Collective is a newly formed collaboration between bodies who met during the most recent ecofeminist summer schools at West Den Haag. Together, we are exploring ways to foster deeper connections—among ourselves, our wider community, and the more-than-human world. Embracing the fluidity between humanity and nature, we seek collective, rather than individualistic, ways of being. Our upcoming series of five gatherings centers on Ecobodyism — a term we are shaping as an expanded, more inclusive vision of ecofeminism. Through body-based practices and conversation, we will develop an embodied lexicon of gestures, sounds, touch, words, and mark-making — building a word skeleton of ecology. Each session will focus on a specific human body part or an eco-body, connecting it to another (eco)body to create meaningful relationships and insights. These sessions are fluid, evolving, and intuitive, shaping themselves through our shared experiences. We invite you to join us in exploring the connections between body, space, and community.

Each event includes a shared meal.
